Importing HTML and XHTML files is possible from v4.1
Arthur COUDERC (FR)
For impairment tests on assets (inventories / PPE) we usually perform a market approach for which it could be useful to scrap data from web pages (for e.g. backmarket, amazon, etc etc) to calculated an average market price and determine whether assets are overstated or not.
In addition we can create on form extraction a set of templates depending on the website to leverage on the community and avoid repeating the same parameters.

As an addition I suggest to add bulk import to this feature. The user can input multiple URLs at once and DS imports from those locations. I think a text area where URLs are seperated by newlines would be sufficient to support both single and bulk import of URLs.

Great idea! Couple of examples come to mind:
- Obtaining evidence for FX rates from Bloomberg / Reuters / Oanda / ECB / etc.
- Obtaining support from online accounting system where auditor has obtained view only access from client
- Import files from client delivery portal

Patrick Uffels: To add to Patrick's point i think this would also help for things like:
- PPE valuation testing where you need to document many valuations from property sites (e.g. Funda.nl),
- where you are using other cloud/web apps for evidence gathering such as credit reports from Fitch, moody's, or S&P, debt reports when working with larger listed co.s, or short selling reports.
- Walkthrough testing when needing to document online processes such as AML Portals, accounting adjustments in General ledger systems, or
- regulatory/press announcement checking when using web services like Lexis Nexis to verify no negative news about prospective or renewal clients are needed.

Youssef Hounat: Patrick Uffels Great input. I would expect it currently gets done by going to the site in your browser and exporting to print or by making screenshots. Which should not be that complicated. What improvement would this feature make over these solutions? I believe the downside of bulk import is that you only have access to public data (without authentication).
