Hi Tim, this is a great suggestion, we have redone how custom tickmarks work in the upcoming v4.1 update, I will reach out to you soon with a version of this that you can try and we can look into if the use case is solved, for now im going to mark this as complete as I believe that the UI update resolves this issue but we can look into it further together!
